The quality of training you will receive at 1^st In Gear will be of the highest standard. Assessed by the Driving Standards Agency, to make sure a high standard of training is being achieved.

The Driving Standard Agency preferred way for beginners to learn to drive has changed from instruction to Client Centred Learning (CCL), the change comes into force April 2014.

Best way to describe the change is that the client takes the responsibility for their learning, the old instructor is now a coach. He/she should be giving you the choice of what and how you learn.

At 1^st In Gear we have already started to give our customers the choice and moved away from instruction to coaching.

Although you will find other driving schools cheaper than 1^st In Gear we believe that our price is competitive for the quality of training you will receive.
